How fast we ship

Orders ship out of Alabama within 2–3 business days of being placed. Business days are Monday through Friday — orders placed over the weekend or on a holiday start their clock the next business day.

Once your order leaves us, transit time depends on the carrier and how far you are from sweet home Alabama — most packages arrive within a few days of shipping. Your tracking link shows the carrier's estimated delivery date.

Who carries it

We ship with UPS, FedEx, and USPS, choosing the best option for your order and destination. Your shipping email and your order page in My Account both show which carrier has your package, along with a tracking link straight to their live tracking page.

No cold packs needed

Caliente jerky is hickory-smoked and shelf-stable — it ships happily in any season, no refrigeration, no ice packs, no melted-chocolate-style tragedies. If your package spends an afternoon on the porch, the jerky won't hold it against you.

Tip: shipping costs and options are shown at checkout before you pay — what you see on the delivery step is what you get. No surprise fees at the door.

Where we ship

We ship across the United States. Sending jerky somewhere unusual — APO/FPO, a P.O. box in the middle of nowhere, or outside the U.S.? Drop us a line at [email protected] before ordering and we'll tell you straight whether we can get it there.

Common questions

  • My tracking hasn't updated in days. Carriers sometimes miss scans, especially mid-route. If nothing moves for several days, contact us with your order number and we'll investigate with the carrier.
  • Can I change my address after ordering? If the order hasn't shipped yet, maybe — contact us immediately and we'll try to catch it before it leaves the dock.
