Paying a Payment Request
Paying a Payment Request
Ordered by phone or email instead of the online shop? We'll send you a payment request — a secure link where you can pay online in under a minute, by card or directly from your bank account. Here's exactly what to expect.
The email
The payment request arrives by email from Caliente Brands. The subject line shows the amount — for example, "Payment Request: $148.50 from Caliente Brands LLC" — and the email includes:
- The amount due and what it's for (your order or invoice reference)
- A red Pay Now button
- The date the link expires
Clicking Pay Now opens your personal payment page. No login, no account — the link itself is your key.
The payment page
The page shows the amount due and a secure payment form powered by Stripe, the same payment processor used by millions of businesses. Your card and bank details go straight to Stripe — they never touch our servers. You can pay with:
- Credit or debit card — payment confirms in seconds.
- Bank account (ACH) — pay directly from a U.S. bank account, no card needed.
Pick your method, enter your details, and hit Pay Now. Card payments show a confirmation right away, and you'll receive an email receipt.
Paying by bank? Here's what "Processing" means
Bank (ACH) payments aren't instant — that's just how bank transfers work. After you submit, you'll see a Payment Processing screen. Your transfer has been initiated and typically takes about four business days to clear. You can safely close the page; we'll email you a confirmation the moment it goes through. The link locks itself while the transfer is in flight, so there's no risk of accidentally paying twice.
Partial payments
Some payment requests allow paying in installments — if yours does, the email will say so (along with the minimum payment amount), and the payment page will let you choose how much to pay now. The link stays active until the balance is paid in full, and the page always shows the remaining amount due.
Link expired?
Every payment link has an expiry date, shown in the email and on the page. We'll send a friendly reminder before it lapses. If your link has already expired, no harm done — just reply to the email or contact us at [email protected] and we'll send a fresh one.
If a payment doesn't go through
If your card is declined or a payment fails, no charge is made — the page will tell you and let you try again or switch payment methods. After several rapid attempts the page takes a short breather for security; wait a few minutes and try again.
Security check: a real Caliente payment request always opens a secure payment page with a Stripe payment form, and we will never ask you to email us your card number. If anything about a payment email feels off, don't click — forward it to [email protected] and we'll confirm whether it's really from us.
